Thy Kingdom Come – Freely We Receive And Freely We Give
1. His Kingdom Has Forgiveness For All
1 Jn 1:9-10 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
Matt 5:23-24 "Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift.
Matt 18:33-35 Shouldn't you have treated the other servant as mercifully as I treated you?' 34 "His master was so angry that he handed him over to the torturers until he would repay everything that he owed. 35 That is what my Father in heaven will do to you if each of you does not sincerely forgive other believers."
● Unforgiveness always opens the doors to torment.
Heb 12:15 Let no one become like a bitter plant that grows up and causes many troubles with its poison.
Eph 4:26-27 “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, 27 nor give place to the devil.
Phil 3:13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
2. His Kingdom Brings Us Freedom and Keeps Us Free.
Matt 10:7-9 As you go, preach this message: 'The kingdom of heaven is near.' 8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.
John 8:36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.
● The Miracle Of God’s Keeping Power
Lk 11:24-26 "When an evil spirit comes out of a man, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, 'I will return to my house I left.' 25 When it arrives, it finds the house swept clean and put in order. 26 Then it goes and takes seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that man is worse than the first."
● Deliverance gets us free but discipline keeps us free.
● “No room here” - Discipleship is the ability to make disciplined ones.
Matt 28:18-20 "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
