3:16 - The Prodigals Are Coming Home - Part 2
1. THE FAMINE HAS COME, SO IT'S TIME TO INVITE THEM BACK HOME
Lk 15:14 about the time his money ran out, a great famine swept over the land, and he began to starve.
Lk 14:15-24 ‘Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in here the poor, maimed, lame and blind. Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
Soul winning is God’s heartbeat, so it’s our heartbeat
Is 54:2 Enlarge your house; build additions; spread out your home! 3 For you will soon be bursting at the seams!
Is 49:8-9,20-25 the children will say again in your ears, The place is too small for me; Give me a place where I may dwell.’ 25 for the Lord says, "The captives of warriors will be released, and the plunder of tyrants will be retrieved. For I will fight those who fight you, and I will save all your children
James 5:19-20 (mess) My dear friends, if you know people who have wandered off from God's truth, don't write them off. Go after them. Get them back 20 that person who brings him back to God will have saved a wandering soul from death, bringing about the forgiveness of his many sins.
"I WANT YOU TO KNOW, SAYS THE LORD, I'M GOING TO GIVE YOU A PLACE SO BIG IT WILL TAKE YOU A LONG WHILE TO FIND THE SEAMS."
2. THE LOST WILL BE FOUND - NEVER ALLOW THE ENEMY TO STEAL OUR VISIONS FOR SOULS
Lk 15:24 He was lost, but now he is found.’ So the party began.
Luke 19:10 (nasu) "I have come to seek and to save that which was lost."
Is 61:2 He has sent me to release from darkness the prisoners (visionless)
Prov 29:18 where there is no vision, the people will perish
Being released from darkness means getting a vision for your life
The vision in you must become greater the temptation around you
Is 60:2-4 The Lost shall come to your light, and leaders to the brightness of your rising. 4 “They shall all come to you; including your sons and your daughters
Acts 26:16-20 I send you to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness
3. POWER OF PRAYER IN THE NAME OF JESUS TO BREAK THROUGH DECEPTION AND LIES
Lk 15:17 “When he finally came to his senses, he said to himself, ‘18 I will go home to my father’s house
Jn 14:14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.
People don’t just come to God they must be prayed into the Kingdom
2 Cor 4:4 (nkjv) But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing (in Hell) whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them (and they see the light and believe)
Matt 9:38 pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”
4. RESURRECTION MORNING WILL BE A SPIRITUAL RESURRECTION FOR THE PRODIGALS
LK 15:32 We had to celebrate this happy day. For your brother was dead and has come back to life!
Jn 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
God sowed for a resurrection in his family and so will we
We will sow for restoration and reap its power this Easter
Gal 6:7-9 Don’t be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever we sow we reap
