1 Pet 5:6-11 Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly; 3 nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock; 4 and you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away. 5 Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” 6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. 10 But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. 11 To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

2. Humility Submits To Leadership and To One Another #Army #NoStrifeZone

Js 4:6-7 “God resists the proud, But He gives more grace to the humble.” 7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you in terror. Sub (mission) – means to come under the mission as a conquering army.

1 Pet 5:5- 6 Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Eph 4:32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. The devil loves it when we turn are guns (mouth) on each other.

Mk 3:25 if a house (Church, Army) is divided against itself, it CANNOT stand.

3.Humility Casts The Whole of Your Care Once and For All On The Lord

1 Pet 5:7 Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Prov 16:3 Commit your works to the Lord, And your work will be established. Once you have given it to the Lord, don’t touch it with your thought life

Matt 6:31-33 “do not worry, about anything 32 For your heavenly Father knows what you need, 33 Seek His will first and he will provide everything

4.Humility is Aware of the Devil’s Strategy To Isolate Us #Temptation

The lion hunts three types of people – the sick, the young and the old because all three have the same thing in common, they are isolated

6. Humility Rejects The Victim Mentality That Says, “I’m All Alone, Nobody knows”

7. If We Humble Ourselves Then Greater Grace Will Bring Us Into Due Season
