Encounter – Show Me Your Glory


1. The Gift of Spiritual Hunger - What we give our attention to will grow

Ex 33:18 And he said, “Please, show me Your glory.” Matt 5:6 Blessed are the hungry and thirsty for God, For they shall be filled. Js 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.

Heb 4:15 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Satan hates for you to see the Glory of the Lord – spend time in His presence until he changes us and sets us free from limitation and bondage

2 Cor 3:17-18 For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18 So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.


2. In His Glory We Can Conquer Discouragement and Have Our Hearts Inspired

Heb 11:2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith

Zack 4:6-10 ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts. 7 ‘Who are you, Obstacle? Before Zerubbabel you shall become nothing! And he shall place the last stone on the finished building with shouts of “Grace, grace to it!” 9 “For his hands have laid the foundation of this temple; and His hands shall also finish it. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me to you. 10 For who has despised the day of small things?

Jer 29:11-13 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

Jer 33:3 Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know. Get in the glory and stay in it, and earthly things take care of themselves In His presence he’s causing the veil to come of our faces, the blinders to fall away and the scales to be take away. He is removing the hindrances and limitations off our own thinking and is causing the crust that has been placed upon us by the cares of this life to be removed from us

1 Kings 6:17 And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

Is 40:29-31 He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, 31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

Hagg 2:3-8 ‘Who is left among you who saw this temple in its former glory? In comparison with it, is this not in your eyes as nothing? 4 Yet now be strong, Zerubbabel, Leaders and people of the land,’ says the Lord, ‘and work; for I am with you. 5 ‘According to the word that I Promised you when you came out of Egypt, so My Spirit remains among you; do not fear!’ 7 all nations shall come to you, because I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the Lord. 8 ‘The silver and gold is Mine,’ says the Lord. 9 ‘The glory of this next temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’
