Love Is…. What’s Love Got To Do With It #everything

1. Love Is – Giving God Every Chamber Of Our Hearts

Matt 12:30-31 love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. 31 And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

Rev 2:4-5 I have this against you, that you’ve left your first love. 5 Remember from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place unless you repent.

Heart literally means chambered, God wants every chamber of our hearts “Your heart Lord, I will seek” is what we should say

Ps 27:8 “Seek My face,” My heart said to You, “Your face, Lord, I will seek. Our hearts should be to please God through our faith and love

Heb 11:5-6 By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him” for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Gal 5:6 our faith is working through love right now.

2. Loving Your Neighbor Means Forgiving Them – Keeping No Record of Wrong

1 Cor 13:4 (nlt) It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.

Eph 5:25-27 Husbands, love your wives [seek the highest good for her and surround her with a caring, unselfish love], just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her

Eph 4:26 If you are angry, don’t sin by nursing your grudge. Don’t let the sun go down with you still angry, get over it quickly 27 for when you are angry, you give a mighty foothold to the devil. 30 Don’t cause the Holy Spirit sorrow by the way you live. 31 Stop being mean, bad-tempered, and angry. Quarreling, harsh words, and dislike of others should have no place in your lives.

Eph 4:27 Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God has forgiven you Perfect homes do not exist, only restored ones

Heb 12:15 be on guard lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled

3. To Love Yourself Means To Forgive Yourself - Having a Clean Conscience

Matt 18:21 “Lord, how often shall I forgive my brother? Up to 490 times?” Accusation and blame come from the same fountain – Satan

Rev 12:10 the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives

2 Tim 1:3 I thank God, whom I serve with a pure conscience

2 Cor 7:2 receive us; we have wronged no man, we have corrupted no man, we have defrauded no man.

Phil 3:13-14 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead

Rom 8:1 there is therefore now no condemnation to them, which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
