2017 Blessed - Peace, Prosperity and Multiplication

1. The Blessing Brings Peace, Prosperity & Multiplication

Gen 12:2 "I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.

Job 8:7 a poor thing thy old prosperity will seem, matched with the abundance He gives thee now (knox.)

Duet 7:13 and He will love you and bless you and multiply you

2. The Fight of Faith Brings the Blessing

Rom 4:20-22 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.

1 Tim 6:12 Fight the good fight of the faith.

●    Faith like a magnet attracts blessing and fear attracts the curse

Job 3:25(NIV) For the thing I greatly feared has come upon me, And what I dreaded has happened to me. I have no peace, no quietness; I have no rest, but only turmoil."

●   Once fear took out his hedge the enemy came in to kill, steal, and to destroy  - We are a covenant protected people by Almighty God

●   God respects our choices - God did not lift that hedge, Job’s fear did

Deut 30:19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live

Mal 3:10-12 I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not cast their fruit," says the Lord Almighty.

3. Stay in Peace – It’s Part of Your Blessing in 2017

Isa 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.

1 Peter 5:7-9 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

●  Cast that care on the Lord and don’t touch it again

Phil 4:6-9 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.  Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy — meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

Jer 17:7-8 “blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.  He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green (all year). It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit."
