The Spirit of Multiplication – Understanding Heaven’s Perspective
1. Whatever Doesn’t Multiply Dies - If Fruit Doesn’t Multiply It Dies
Jn 15:5-8 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so then you will be My disciples.”
Matt 9:35-38 "But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.””
● Soul winning and Disciple making is the what the fight is all about
Matt 18:14 Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.
2. Divine Urgency - Not To Multiply Is Unacceptable #wakeup
Prov 23:33-34 A little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to rest; 34 So shall your poverty come like a prowler,
And your need like an armed man.
● Leadership poverty comes when divine urgency is lost
Lk 6:12-13 Now it came to pass in those days that He went out to the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God. 13 And when it was day, He called His disciples to Himself; and from them He chose twelve whom He also named apostles:
Heb 5:7 “Who in the days of his flesh, having offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears
Matt 25:1-9 “Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’ “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.
● When urgency is lost we accept excuses and unprofitability
Matt 25:25 I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.’ 26 “But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. 28 Therefore take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents 29 ‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. 30 And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
Ps 35:11 “I am God Almighty. Be fruitful and multiply
